Here's my two cents.
You should NOT take credit for the design just because you paid the guy not to say it's originally made by him, when you're even stating that you didn't design it yourself. You can take credit for the maintenance, but really not for the layout. And with the Peter Jackson reference, the CGI-people don't decide what things look like, they do what they're told.
So, basically, I don't care much about what you do with the site or the fact that you decided to buy the rights to a template, just don't take credit for the design which you had no part of except adding the group's name to.
I am not a teenager.

hrrm, i always gave tolkein the credit for the orc effects. i had thought steve had done it, but when i found out it was a template i was kinna dissapointed. I mean, Kramy said "Looks good Steve. I can tell you have a design talent. (unlike me )"
and steve didnt mention the template, which I though was a lil bit dirty. But you know, who the fuck cares, I stole half of my website's graphics from the apple website.
Even though mac's suck shit, they look pretty. pretty shit.
Steve Zissou: Anne-Marie, do all the interns get Glocks?
Anne-Marie: No, they have to share one.

Again, that would still be 'pretty shit' in my eyes.
