I know you will all reach a definate conclusion about this, probably that you do not believe it's anything special, and if you do reach that conclusion... hell, I'd probably agree with you.
I'd never believe this story, but here I am telling it...

A little bit ago, I was using the UT2004 editor. I had done something cool with it, and my dad plays UT2004 a lot, he was in the nearby kitchen. I thought, "Hey, I think I'll show him." Just then I had Deja Vu.

Of course, Deja vu is thinking something has happened before. The scientific explaination is that at some point in the electrical jumps in your brain, where it says that this has happened, it jumps to it, does a small circle and hits it again, thus registering the thought of it happening twice. That's why you can never remember when it happened before.

So I thought, "What should I do? Should I call him over, or wait to see if he comes this way?" Suddenly the wierdest thing happened. I remembered what he was going to do next. Obviously, this makes no sense. But... I was right.

I remebered that he was going to do something small, and then go into the his bedroom nearby, and as he did, I would find myself helpless, trying to figure out if I should call him or not, and as he would enter his bedroom, I would just have finished a small detail of what I was doing, and be ready for him, and wonder why I didn't call him and finish it while he was coming.

I was right on the mark. I mean RIGHT on the mark. He opened a can of beer, and walked away into his bedroom.

Creepy huh? I figure I just made a good prediction, but I feel as though that's not it...

Just a coincidence. Think of all the times you suspect somebody is going to do something and then they don't do it. I's nothing remarkable that you were correct once.

Woah. Hold on, man. I see where you're coming from, and I don't blame you, but this is the only time it's happened THIS way. Other times I asked, "Will this happen?" This time I said, "This will happen."

Perhaps, or perhaps you convinced yourself that you did after the fact. It happens.

How predictible is that, i mean fuck, the guy just opened a can of beer, happens all of the time. I would do it often by I prefer mine in bottles or poured out of the tap into a schooner.
Maybe it's your inner self saying to you "NEED BEER!". Happens to me all of the time.

Is there a gullibility epidemic going around here?

Deja-vu is nonsense. It's either happened before and you forgot, then you get a weird sensation of half-rememberence or your brain wires itself up weirdly briefly.

I remebered that he was going to do something small
Just look at how vague that is. He could have done absolutely anything, and it probably would have fitted that category. Even if he shot you in the leg, pulling the trigger is a "small movement". Then he walked in to the bedroom. If he was a monk on a life vow to never walk in to any bedrooms, ever, then you might have a rare occurance on your hands. But...
