im having a real hard time trying to get my parallax to work!
I have the latest mmf build which solved part my problem but now i have another.
the parallax mostly works except the backgrounds blur across the screen creating multiple images of themselves. I have 2 layers of parallax one centered in the screen and one that scrolls at a slower rate. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!! im soooo stuck.

is there an option to 'save background'?
i can't be sure because i dont have mmf but there is an option with active objects in tgf. turning it off makes active objects blur.

Try repositioning the events which create the parallax scrolling to near the top of the event list. MMF reads the events from top to bottom, so if the parallax code is near the bottom then the parallax scrolling will lag a bit, creating that "smear" effect you're talking about.
PS: I am the parallax king

I had exactly the same problem with my latest project. You've got to make sure that all the screen is covered with background system objects - if there is a gap and a B.S.O. scrolls across one, it will leave a trail.
Put a solid colour background system object behind all the others, and this might solve your problem.
