I am just crying with the thought to use parralax in my games, it will be so cool.. but some evil thingy isnt letting me do it.

I read Circy's article and put the parralax stuff in one of my games. But now, when I run my app, the backdrop objects (which I put in front) just go behind the active system box. Also, is there a way to not use the positioning + dimensioning? As if I would make a normal background that is.. cause with the scrolling X/y equation you'll always be forced to put in an Y, which i just don't wanna change. for my last question, If I resize my system box in the Frame Editor, I cant select any backdrops, It just like, overwrites them. This might have something to do with the first problem I noted.

I hope someone out there (Let's hope "Parralax King" Circy himself reads this ) could help me with these issues. Ive been using the games Factory for over 3 years and MMF for 4 months now and it sooo rocks

make sure it's the background system box you're using, then right click it and view it to back

That would still only solve one aspect of the problem

I can't really understand what you're trying to do...

If I've interpreted it correctly, you don't ever want to change the Y position of your background system object. That's do-able as well - when you're asked for a Y co-ordinate, give it Y("Background system object") and it'll be fine.

If you ask me, don't bother resizing your system object in the editor, it tends to just get in the way. Just make sure it appears correctly in the game.

Another thing I noted was that if two background system objects have the same name in a game, MMF sometimes gets confused and displays the wrong one. To avoid this, make sure all your BSOs have unique names.
