As you all probably noticed, The Daily Click has been down the last couple of days. We apologise for this, it was due to our host being stupid. We would like to switch hosts once our contract with this host expires, but this requires money.

The Daily Click now has an online store where you can buy t-shirts, mugs, mouse pads and teddy bears, plus more to come! If you want to help us out, buy an item or two from our store.

If you have an idea for a design, you could have your name on the product title and description! Send me a small version of your image to admin@shadowcaster.info and what type of item you would like it printed on. If the admins like your idea, we'll place it on our store!

So why not have some fun while helping your favourite community site at the same time? :)

Here's an idea for you guys, look for a project with heaps of crew members working for it. Create a picture consisting of the logo, several charectors from the game, and a quote of how great it was, and the crew will surely buy everything from T-shirts to mousemats. That way they can tell all thier friends that they made a game so great, that a seperate organization sold thier murchandise online to a big world of gamers.

As well as using the shop to rise funds, you may want to consider joining Amazons affiliate programme and promoting game design books on the front page of this site. There are plenty of general game design books that users of the DC would enjoy, plus if you sign up with Amazon for specific books then DC would get a better percentage of sales. Alfie

Just a suggestion, the prices are somewhat overkill, so it might make sense to lower them just a drop. No one's going to pay $16 for a mousepad, printed with a DC logo though it may be, especially if you have to add 5 or 6 bucks for shipping. Good idea though. Are you going to be selling commercial Click games here, too?

Well unfortunately we cant make them any cheaper :) We get charged a lot of money for each item, since each item is created by the store as they are ordered.
