It's All Over |

Applications for the Administrators position at The Daily Click have now closed. A lot of people tried out, and it will take a while, I'm sure, to decide who it will be (there has already been a lot of discussion in the Editors forum).
A few things I wanted to mention for next time:
1. When you submit an application you need to tell me what your DC name is. There is no use telling me your real name because that often isn't the same as your DC name; and some people didnt give me a name at all.
2. I realise that the admins don't always spall korrectly and use more badder grammars, but a job application is supposed to showcase your ability. If you submit text that is riddled with spelling mistakes, has poor grammar, and isn't formatted (i.e. all in one big paragraph) then it's going to be less likely we choose you over someone else who presented themself well in their writing.
3. Please provide me with what I ask, and only what I ask. One email I got didn't include a writing sample, and I had to email him back to ask for it. Another person sent me 5 samples of writing, all of which none of the admins have enough time to read. I didnt ask for a link to "many things" or "a few things" or even "a couple of things" so keep that in mind next time we're searching for admins.
I don't know why I bothered saying all that again, since I say it every time and no one seems to listen. However if at least one person remembers this for next time, then my life becomes a little easier :-)
