ToTaL's Tutorials
News posted 4th February, 2005 by David Newton (DavidN)
A number of little tutorial applications have been uploaded by ToTaL, including examples of how to make a custom list and how to get 360 degree shooting working. A screenshot wouldn't be very helpful, so here's that big question mark again. The tutorials are as follows:

Custom Lists
360 Degree Laser
360 Degree Shooting
360 Degree Spread Shot
360 Degree Shooting with Gravity

Wouldn't it have been better to just make a single submission for all of them?

It would certainly have saved me time, I can tell you that.

just an excuse for more DC points :p

Why is everything everyone does on this website "an excuse for more DC points"!? They are absolutly nothing but points to show how much spam a newbie can throw on the site on there first day. Why does everyone make such a big deal about them!? I will say though, that it would have been alot more useful & time saving to just pack them all into 1 tutorial pack.

do you want me to set yours back to zero, then, brandon? ;)

I wasnt thinking about DC, Points actually If you cant see my rank hasnt gone anywhere, I dont care about that It was more because Id already uploaded the examples a long time ago and decided to submit them and I personally dislike TUTORIAL PACKS verymuch cause there normally full of unuseable crap from old game constituing bad graphics not consitant with other frames and this way you can just pick the Example you want and download rather than downloading a large file of other stuff you DONT need!

another reason is because I already had a bunch of tutorials and will probrely submit more and Id hate having to recompile tutorial packs just looks ugly

Well its pretty nice to just pack all the CCA's it 1 nice little zip. Just for future references.

thanks brandon, but I doubt Ill end up that or another mass submit after the response this gained

the 360 degree shooting with gravity is REALLY buggy... then again maybe my build of mmf is just too old..

Posted by Silveraura 5th February, 2005

If its old, then why dont you get the new build? 118 is the latest one if I'm not mistaken.

Posted by Jack Galilee 5th February, 2005

yea, there seems to be alot of issues with Algorithms, being run in other versions of MMF gets annoying after a while!.. just make sure you updated!
