Basic movement - Jumping Left/Right + higher jumping while holding shift.
Basic armor implementation (looks only - no stats yet).
Armor progression will be similar to Link to the Past. Once you gain a new armor, it stays. You gain each piece of armor in a certain order as the game progresses.
Most pieces of armor have a different effect.
Current armor planned in order
-Blue Shirt = Adds Def
-Cape = Adds Def + Slower Falling
-Steel Legs = Enable use of "Pound"
-Bone Helm = Break stuff with your head
Basic ability implementation (1 ability so far)
In the game, "Frog" will encounter flies. Eating these flies will restore some health. There are also Elemental flies that will join you on your journey (usually/probably after you rescue them from bosses). Each fly will grant you a different ability upon eating it. An elemental fly will reappear after the effect has worn off so abilities can be used an infinite number of times.
There is an example in the video and in the screenshots. The Fire elemental fly causes "Frog" to erupt into flames, and jump really fast. It also enables him to jump in/over lava pits and through fires.
Definitely. They are not final, and will be replaced with some other graphics. I use faded foreground graphics as placeholders for the parallax effect.
