The first real boss of this game has finally seen his way into the game engine, and he is fully programmed to give the player quite a test. He has more attacks, more health, and is worth better spoils than normal enemies. Don't drop your guard for an instant though, because his attacks HURT.
Your own magick spells can kill you now if you aren't careful with them. Certain spells will rebound off some obstacles, making them harmful to not just your enemies, but you as well. So far, only the projectile spells can turn on you, but that might expand later.
Time cycles now also include days. No longer are we limited to the eight time segments originally programmed!
As to movement freedoms, one thing that a friend recommended I put in the game is the freedom to preemptively attack your enemies. It seemed like a good idea, so I did just that. The player can now get in some free shots if they know how to use either Daggers or projectile magick. Be warned though, because this tactic is not a very honorable one. Enemies that are killed this way (no battle screen is seen) will not drop any spoils.
I can't wait to get to the next boss, because she's gonna be a doozy.
Also, apparently there is already a game out for the PC called "Alive", so I'm going to have to think of a different title.
More always on the way!
