You might ask yourself, "What is the difference between the old and the new engine?"
And it's simple really;
The old engine wasn't fastlooped, the new one is.
One major dilemma though, is that the editor relies on backdrop objects, while some features we really want to implement need the world to be made out of actives. (Physics objects like grenades, raycasting enigne etc.)
My original plan is to make the game with backdrop objects, and as bug-free and lag-free as possible and release it. Then maybe make an update or a 1.5 with the actives. Don't get your hopes up though, it's still a lot of work to get there.
