First, I finished the final trailer for TAG. It's now available on YouTube:
But, even better than that: I have a public beta available for download. I've had about a dozen people play-testing the game for about 3 weeks. And while there are definitely still bugs and small issues, I think it's ready for a larger audience.
I'm looking for feedback of all kinds: general feedback about the game-play, difficulty, etc. And I'm also hoping to weed out any additional bugs or glitches.
Hmm it doesn't play too badly, but some of the controls annoy me a little. The dialogue button specifically. I dunno, just seems a little awkward.
Edit: Just had to do the paperhat/museum part twice. As soon as I got the hat I could do nothing but walk and jump. No crouching, attacking, no inventory screen would appear. Had to start back from the last save point Comment edited by -Adam- on 11/13/2011
Finding the first boss a little too hard. He's enjoyable, would just be nice to have at least one pot with some food in it, so I have at least one chance to increase health if I need it.
Although I did manage to beat him with full health, perhaps it was just me being crap Comment edited by -Adam- on 11/14/2011
I've had a lot of people tell me that boss was too hard but them after they beat him they seem to like it. Seems like maybe you had a similar experience
Snake,
I'll send you a private message as I don't want to spoil it for anyone else.
Wow...man i must tell you: already the beginning is so catching, i feel like 13 again playing secret of evermore and feeling like i am that pixel guy in the game. Very, very cool so far. The game is ONE thing (nothings seems no not fit). This is actually a very touching moment. thank you for this game.
