Story:

Welcome to the NACS Tournament:

After years of development of nano technological suits, the time has come to show the real purpose of these suits; these suits are a combination of excellence. NACS Industries' latest experiments have been brought to your favorite techno stores and they are now available to suit your need for that burst for adrenaline.

This year NACS Industries is sponsoring a tournament in which the citizens of Proximus can either attend as an audience or as a fighter with the new Nano Accompanied Cyber Suits. Every NACS has its unique ability and looks that are integrated to its host body. With the co-operation between the host and the NACS, there will surely be a battle royale. Here is a word from the NACS President, Mr. Zedekiah:

" - Dear citizens of Proximus! Time is of the essence to show you all the true magnificence of human intelligence; NACS. These special suit have been developed in your labs for almost 25 years in correspondence to our current technological development. Proximus was brought up as a country with little technological development, but now we have even gotten infront of our allies and our enemies. So I have started a special event for all the citizens of Proximus, that is the shipment of all NACS to your neighborhood techno shops for your personal satisfaction. Please enjoy these special suits, because there will be bigger places to show the true power of NACS."


Be sure to follow the announcements regarding the NACS Tournament from Proxy TV. Remember; If you want to experience the extreme, be sure to get your NACS and register for the NACS Tournament."

So what is NACS?

NACS is a unique fighting game. I call it unique cause most fighting games consist of only of different types of characters who have special moves and combos... and they can fight. But NACS has a completely different figthing style. Actually I got the general idea of NACS from the old but favorite One Must Fall: 2097. OMF is freeware now so you can download it (just search from google, but the game is a DOS game so you will need DOSBox to play it).

The game works by you selecting a character with different type of attributes. Players will the following attributes:

- HP
- Strenght
- Agility
- Dexterity
- Endurance

There will be about 10 different players with different levels for their attributes. While one may be high on HP and Strength and medium or low on others, another could be a lot more different. On the otherside, these attributes will affect the NACS that they will wear on themselves with the aid of nanobots. The technology in the game is so advanced that you can basically carry your NACS on a portable, watch sized machine that is tied to your wrist. NACS are all unique with different abilities that correspond with the attributes of their host (the players themselves). I have planed at least 10 NACS so that the number of playable characters and NACS would equal the same, but this amount may increase later on. Different NACS have different ability like:


- The ability to teleport short distances while in fights.
- The ability to cloak and quickly attack the opponent.
- The ability to have sharp weapons that can morph into different shapes for use in combat.
- The ability to shoot firearm (lasers, bombs, etc).


and more pure kamikaze machines...

The game itself will have a unique combo section in the combat where you can achieve superior combos when you got enough adrenaline pump of that level. Normal attacks like punch and kick don't require any adrenaline pump so you can do them anytime in the game. But special attacks and combos require basic adrenaline levels to be done so. You cannot simply do the strongest combo in the first seconds of the game. This will make it possible to have strategies in the battle arena and make it a better experience between pro fighters and newbie fighters.

So you will be asking the story of the game, well the story starts out in the future in a newly developed Post-WWIII country named Proximus. The mayor has funded a lot of money for research of technology because they start out behind everyone else and NACS Industries enables them to leap infront of every other nation. You start out as a character, minding his own bussiness and working as a mechanic in a factory. You see the TV commercial (the story at the top) while walking past a TV Shop on your way home and get interested in it. The story itself will be even more detailed as you hear the story of your opponents with the elements of RPG in the game. You will be able to walk in Proximus city and discover lots of other things instead of justing fighting each other.

So I described the game but the game itself is really on it early stages. I'm still designing the concept art of the character and the world itself. Mostly the concept is done but I will still have to reintegrate them to the game itself and code the game. So don't expect this game to come out soon

Stupid ISP (blocks all video uploading sites...)

Because of my stupid ISP I was unable to upload a video of the WIP. So I'll be continuing my search for a reliable video uploading website or you guys will just have to wait until I can gather enough money to buy a website and upload the video there :S

The development of NACS has been going on for about 2 months so far. I'm still designing the internal fighter sprites of the games with the concept art that I have done. So it will be a while until you can actually see a working alpha game.
