this would be the first game ive made in over 3 years it would. i'm hoping to make a small, simple and fairly cheerful platformer much like the ones i used to make in years gone by.
so far its a little blokey in a place with some stuff (yet to add the stuff) thats all there is so far!
stuff expected to include ya average platforming type gameplay, some weapon type affairs and not all that many levels. Oh and i'm sort of toying with the prospect of voice acting.

oh yeah. this game. i guess its on holdish for a bit whilst i remake MrPineapple, i might revamp this games engine when i get back to it ie steal the new MrPineapple one. which could open up the possibility of things like moving platforms and the like.... almost like i want it to be a .. game or something!
basically i havnt forgotten about this project even though i suspect everyone else has!

well, i havnt abandoned this yet. probably a good sign. i'm still pissing about with the basic engine and such like at the moment, so i have a template type first level which will probably see a massive amount of expansion throughout the ol' development process. also still trying to come up with some enemy designs, i only have 1 so far and i need at least a couple more. i want my grunt carnsarnit!
story is coming together in my head. the real issue now is that i know if i go ahead with voice acting it'll be terrible as click games with voices almost always are. hmmmmm i have some dialogue written but i might well just shove it all in speech bubbles or whatever.
music... the fun bit: i actually havnt started any yet shockingly enough! but when the urge strikes me i'm sure i'll crap out the whole soundtrack fairly swiftly, i do that sort of thing.
finally.... i'd like to say that there are no screenshots here because 1 my graphics are nothing sort of shameful and 2 i have nowhere to host pictures!
thats it for now.
