Project Overview
Dark Aftermath is my "Big" project, you might say. First, so you dont read through the preview thinking that I am doing all of this myself...

Main Engine Programming- Darklord (thegamespage.com
Music- Paavo Pessi (Tympanic Productions http://koti.mbnet.fi/~tympanic/)

Everything Else (art, interface, level design)- ME!!!

About 75% of the art is done, all that is left are a few particles and most of the backgrounds for levels. The first pic is a cutscene (which will be improved upon), the second is a mock-up scene of the gameplay, and the third is a still pose for a boss. In the comments, I will continue posting links to pictures and stuff, instead of making a new preview every time I have a fairly large update.

The game is a Post-Apoctalyptic platformer. There are about 8 enemies planned (I will add more when the engine is totally complete) with 5 chapters, with 4 levels in each chapter. I can't call the game an RPG, but it DOES have a very neat story line, and you can talk to people/ weird alien creatures and sometimes interact with them (like, they follow you or something). The story is completely written out on paper, and it is over 9 pages long, front and back, if I were to write it in this preview, it would give away most of the game's secrets/puzles. Nah, I WOULD type it out, but I'm too tired right now...

You can't save DURING the action, but before each level there will be an info screen with save/exit options, and objectives/background story for the level.

10 weapons are planned, A whip (im trying to get darklord to make it so there are a whole bunch of little strands, kinda like the leash in Black and White, I think that would be pretty cool looking), a pistol, an Uzi, a Flame Thrower, a Rocket Launcher, and 5 "Gifts" (or "Spells")

In the story there ARE 6 boss battles planned, but I am thinking of adding a few MINI-Bosses here and there. As the Estimated Release stated above says, this game will take a while, and I am absolutely not releasing ANY demos of it.
