The idea was to make a robot that runs on stages and shoots away terrain. As a player, I thought that you could have missions for each planet and have different creatures you encounter on different planets in space. Different missions should be placed across the solar system.

The technique right now is that I have surface objects but is a huge picture. I wondered if I could make small surface objects like tiles and design levels a little more like a classic tile-based games? Painting huge stages was a bit difficult and time-consuming, but the advantage was that you can do whatever you want with the level design, because you have every pixel as a stage detail. The disadvantage is that you can't animate stages. In that case, active objects on the painting, such as a flag.

Bugs right now are that sometimes there are black spots left that you think are part of the stage, but in fact it is passable. And how do you get the enemies to behave well on a level where small pixels can be in the way. Right now I haven't had time to get the enemies as good as I want. Which was a huge challenge.

The game was an experiment. I thought it was fun to play and it looks really cool to shoot away terrain. A bug in the game was once that I didn't have a timer on when bullets should be shot. I was shooting holes in the path like a huge laser. It was fun but you can't play like that. It opened up opportunities to come up with weapon upgrades, etc.

Right now I'm thinking about what I'm going to come up with the new learned techinque.

The controls can be a little difficult to use for some.

And yes, I didn't get a turn and go the other way animation, Now you just go backwards.

I think this game can be made really well, I hope so.

What do you think?
