If any of y'all were keeping up with my web site (ha!), you would've known that the GOLD version of El Duel de Death: Chaos Arena was finished in January- but then my computer crashed big time!
I lost ALL versions of even the original version of the game.
BUT I like the project so much, I'm re-doing it with completely new features! If you wanna play the original version it's in the "beat 'em up" section here at the DC. I'm already halfway done re-making it (the original) in just two days!)

What is Chaos Arena, you ask? Well, one day fireballs started raining from the sky- and everyone they hit turned into crazy magical beings. They all decided to fight each other, and thus the Chaos Arena was born!
The premise for Chaos Arena is this: get some of my famous (ha!) Klik Factory characters such as Zack Bond, Rekd Eg, and Katiki into a crazy fighting game- then make a bunch more CRAZY characters to fight them, too.

FEATURES!:

- Several playable characters (had NINE completed in GOLD version- already remade half of them and plan to make several more.)
- A level for each character, reflected from their game or just from their personality.
- Each character is interestingly designed to be completely unique- and each has four moves! Most of these moves are the kind of thing you've never seen in any other fighting game, including mind control, coconut grenades, and much more!
- Battles involve lots of moving around and strategy and are brisk-paced. More like Super Smash Bros. than Street Fighter, for example.
- ONE OF THE MOST ADVANCED BEAT-'EM-UP ENGINES EVER SEEN IN A KLIK GAME! Allows unlimited flexibility for what characters can do and how many characters you can have. If I have a character sprite already made I can easily make it playable in less than half an hour (which includes programming all it's moves, drawing sprites for it's attacks, and implementing it into the engine).

FEATURES NEW TO CHAOS ARENA TWO!

- ONE PLAYER MODE! I've always known the biggest problem with the game was that it's two player only. I'm working on a ONE-PLAYER MODE where you'll travel through a level and destroy enemies, then encounter a boss. Also considering an ARCADE mode where you are in a level and enemies will bombard you and there will gradually be more and more. Sorry though- 1P non-boss battle AI is nearly impossible to program.
- UNLOCKABLES! You get points for playing one-player mode and a few points for completing a battle with a friend (wouldn't want people to abuse it). You can unlock characters, levels, and even ALTERNATE CHARACTER COSTUMES! Maybe I'll even throw in some other fun stuff...
- UPDATED INTERFACE! Yeah- the Title Screen for the first game was the "busiest" one I've ever seen in a game. It had a picture with stuff going on in the backround, it had lots of flashing stuff, and a LOT of character icons. Hopefully in this game I'll be able to dumb it down a bit (and make it look cooler).
- MORE CHARACTERS AND LEVELS! Well, duh! I've already got some ideas for some characters I'm going to add once I get all my original characters back in working condition. Each of those characters will get their own level. And of course I'm going to have unlockable levels! Most of the new characters will be unlockable-only beyond the NINE that were in Chaos Arena GOLD.
- PLAYER STATS! Yeah, this was a nice feature I put into the GOLD version right before my computer crashed. You can enter your name and the game will remember how many games you've won/lost and stuff like that.
