Project Overview
Hooray and rejoice! Cos it’s almost that time again

iPublish 2.0 is rearing its clicktastic head again, and it’s bigger than ever

Below are 17 high-res, high-quality PNG's for you to look at. And now for the features.

Currently 9 months in development, and reaching beta 2, iPublish 2.0 improves over the original iPublish in so many ways, below are the reasons why;

* Much faster engine - now uses a dedicated MDI engine and a far more optimised management method.

* Bigger, Better, Faster API - A whole new dimension of plugins, which can get info about & directly manipulate active documents (Final SDK available around beta 2)

* Sleeker, much more professional design -iPublish never looked so good!

* A range of easy to use HTML tools embedded right inside the interface.

* Ability to expand upon existing range of functionality & tools with an enhanced update system.

* API & Engine allows for broader functionality, with minimal file usage and inconvenience.

* Inbuilt ASP & PHP tools for fast server-side functionality in your pages.

* Multiple templates, custom template creation & snippets manager make forming documents that much easier.

* Interchangeable and "poppable" sidebar panes - Quick functionality 1 click away.

* Most of the UI panels hide able - Get a clean look, or everything on.

* Multiple MDI modes - Use a tabbed or regular MDI view, the UI updates automatically for this.

* Robust functionality - Dialogs to assist with HTML page creation embedded in sidebars, available via plugins or wizards.

* Specialised image inserter - can retrieve paths relative to the active document, and open most web formats.

* Open all files from a directory - Handy function to open entire websites.

* Project manager *coming soon* have the ability to edit multiple sites with their own FTP options and security.

Extra notes;

There WILL be a colour engine when it’s released - I’m working hard for a fast & Bug free system

I’m estimating November as the release date - But don’t rely on my judgement

Estimated file size will be about 9-11Mb unpacked, 4Mb rared, 4.5Mb Zipped etc.

Updates will come regularly and logically after the release, so you won’t be left behind
