Project Overview
South Park fangame, yadda yadda... well, this is one that brings a lot of innovations (or, if they've already been done, "features") to the side-scroller genre.

The storyline picks up where the original left off (it's available on this site if you really want it) - the destruction of the Omega Cult in the Evil Parallel Universe. Life goes on normally for young Wendy Testaburger - breaks up with her boyfriend, class president, yadda yadda. Unfortunately for her, she is needed in the Evil Parallel Universe. Desperate scientists at the McCormick Foundry, located in the Evil Parallel Universe, summon Wendy from good ol' South Park. It seems that the remnants of the Omega Cult have gone quite insane now that their leader is missing, and they're hording all sorts of archaic artifacts - even the Triangles of Zinthar, thought long lost. Wendy is sent to retrieve the artifacts from the insane cult remnants - only to find herself in a web of deceit, conspiracy, and a plot to not only revive the Omega Cult, but to take over Wendy's universe...

The game has lots of weapons. I'm debating limiting the amount of weapons you can carry at a time, but I don't want the game to be inundated with key controls and such. Give me suggestions for this. Anyway, here are the weapons:
-Knife: If you run out of ammo, just stab something that has a gun and Presto! Ammo.
-Pistol: Your standard pistol. It holds 12 rounds and is pretty accurate.
-Uzi: This weapon is much faster than the pistol and has a 30-round clip, but it tends to lose accuracy on smaller targets.
-Shotgun: Lethal at close range, the shotgun is a high-powered killing stick that fires a spread of buckshot into the air. It holds 8 shells and needs to be reloaded manually.
-Assault Rifle: This next-generation assault rifle is accurate, but slightly slower than the uzi. It holds 32 rounds.
-Grenade Launcher: This is actually two weapons - you'll find both standard HE grenades and gas grenades lying around. Both can be equally deadly - the gas grenades cling to surfaces, spouting out toxic gas, while the HE grenade creates a large explosion on contact! The projectile will drop as it moves. It holds 6 rounds.
-Flamethrower: Ah, what a weapon! Despite its limited range, the flamethrower can be quite useful - if you're skilled, you can even create a ring of fire around yourself!
-Minigun: The most powerful bullet-based weapon in the game... and how Wendy can carry it, nobody knows. Anyway, it's a belt-fed monstrosity that is also ridiculously fast and inaccurate. It'll chew enemies to shreds - and your ammo supply.
-And a few secret "reward" weapons!

Not everything you do can be done with weapons, though. Stock up on these inventory items:
-Fizzy Cola: As a child, you're susceptible to sugar highs. Pop the lid off of one of these and chug it down, and you'll move much faster until your sugar high wears off. The effect stacks, so you can drink a whole six-pack at once if you plan on leaping across lots of long gaps...
-Medkit: Face it, you'll get hurt. A lot. These things patch you up good as new... duh.
-Gasmask: If there's a gas trap or an ill-placed gas grenade up ahead, put this on and charge on through - you won't take any damage. But it runs out quickly!
-Minimap: This device detects traps, enemies, and your current location. You need to find a new one on each level.
-Armor: Armor offers limited protection from bullet weapons, but not from gas, fire, explosions, crushing, and/or STD's.
-Keycards: There are three keycard colors to grab - Blue, Red, and Yellow. Insert them into card readers to open doors, deactivate forcefields, extend bridges, and more.

And here are some of the traps/obstacles you may find:
-Touchplate: In the temples of the Omega Cult, these touchplates operate gates. Standing on them is enough to operate them.
-Gates: You can shoot through 'em, but not walk. If they're raised, you should hurry through - getting crushed by one is lethal.
-Hidden spikes: Tell-tale holes in the ground shoot up spikes as you walk over them. They hurt.
-Gas shooters: Toxic gas shoots out of these jets. They can be constant or intermittant.
-Explosives: A bullet weapon, flame, or other explosion is enough to set these off, destroying anything within its radius.
-Destructable walls: These weakened walls can be destroyed by explosions to reveal passageways.

Enjoy!
