Project Overview |
|
The year is 1931. The place is Pennsylvania. Jonathan Stansbury was a just another normal guy, until a private detective's investigation led him to the small town of Ashburne in search of his brother. The area is shunned by the locals of the surrounding countryside, some of whom whisper and gossip about the strange folk that live there. Others speak of an ancient evil that dwells in the forests that enclose Ashburne. But what he finds there is an unexpected horror that no one could have imagined.
As Jonathan, you will be pulled into a story of terror, mystery, and suspense, as you explore the small town in an attempt to unravel its terrifying mystery and, hopefully, escape with your life. "Unmarked Graves" will host:
-Rich and detailed 2D graphics
-Immersive ambient sound that enhances the horror experience
-Frighteningly realistic artificial intelligence
-Well-researched weaponry appropriate for the time period
-Advanced atmospheric effects; weather, fire, blood and gore, etc.
-And (thought it may sound clich?) much, much more. . .
I hope to have a website dedicated to this project soon, but until then, I hope these tiny morsels will sate your appetite.
NOTE: Some information about the screenshots. The first two depict the first locale Stansbury encounters, a seemingly abandoned church on the edge of town. Oh no, it's a church. . .that's sacriligous! Better delete my preview so as not to offend anyone! Well, anyway, the screenshots are subject to change as the project moves along.
The second two show crude sketches done in a spiral notebook during an altogether boring Chemistry class. These, too, are also subject to change.
