What's Done So Far
Posted 26th Mar 09, by Jon Lambert
Hmm. Okay then. You want to see something that's been done? All right.

As I've said before, I've been working on a level editor. We'll probably never use it as people will likely just make their own levels in their own products (click products) but at the very least it'll teach me something. I have the controls all optimized for those using three-button mice. I have a screenshot of the editor (which is using a tileset I'm working on for the game right now) and of the controls. If you click the scroll wheel, it places a tile down, and if you press the Delete key on the keyboard while hovering over a placed tile, it gets deleted.

In addition, Matthew Wiese made the engine for the game quite a while ago. That engine has been compiled into an exe which is here. http://sites.google.com/site/jlambsoft/Home/games/engine.zip?attredirects=0

Which reminds me. Matthew Wiese is now a member of this project, for his programming and all.

Now that's what I was talking about

Btw, sorry for my earlier comments if they had been rough :/

If you guys need any kind of gui/photoshop type art, I'm pretty experienced with it and can help out if it's something I'm capable of

the engine seems nice, only one beef, the platform pushes you if youre standing in front of that. you could problably rectify that with a player is above platform condition to the movement script.
