There seem to be four popular traditions here on the Daily Click at the moment. In order of appearance, as far as I remember, they are: Four-colour games, Snake games, Dance Dance Revolution games, and games which you have to squint to see the window for as they take up the same area as a postage stamp. Until someone comes up with "Micro Snake Revolution: 2-Bit Colour Edition", this is the game that utilises the most of these elements.

So in other words, it's a DDR game in a small window which isn't very colourful. Otherwise, it's pretty unremarkable, but then it's my job to try and find something to say about it.

It's well presented, though there really is no need to have such a small window. The graphics are entirely in about four different shades of blue, which can be a strain on the eyes after a while, especially considering the window size. Different colours for the different arrows would probably have helped.

There's no attempt to synchronise the arrows with the music at all, and you have to press Space to start the game even while the music has already started playing. Also, the arrows at the top of the screen aren't in the traditional order - rather than Left, Up, Down, Right, the author has opted for Up, Down, Left, Right, which is more confusing than anything else.

Another thing missing from the game is a "rating" system, along with a mechanism for judging the quality of your hits - it's either "hit" or "miss" here, no ratings such as Perfect, Good, OK, A Bit Duff, Duff, and Completely Duff.

This review has been negative overall, but it's a good start to a DDR game. It just needs to incorporate some of the (some pretty much essential) features that it's currently missing, and not try to break away from the formula in such a strange way.
