A brief review of this game.

In this game, Animatrix- named after the popular animated series of the Matrix on DVD, you act as a agent trying to shoot everyone, moving from city to city until you succeed.

At least that was what I saw from the game.

I suggest this game must be oriented to a tutorial rather than a real game.

Presentation: It seems like this game was rushed. Please slow down, and take your time. Graphics should not be drawn using the ordinary Picture Editor- you produce low edge quality pictures. Only use it for minor touchups.

Besides that, the resolution should be either 800x600 of 1024x768. Benefit it for people with older video cards.

Gameplay- Please change the jump technique- up+<- or -> really sucks. SHIFT or CTRL cuts it. And take time to create a better platform engine of your own. Refer to TGF examples to see how, or game demos like ZEB.

Graphics- As mentioned take time to draw graphics. Also note that using plain colours as walls really stinks, unless you're creating a "retro" game.

Sound and music- Why is it just one MIDI? Are those samples coming from your voice?

Lastability- I think people would shut this game down after 30 seconds of play. Lastability means how long a person would be tempted to play the game. A great game would get the player playing all night, which in ways is good and bad. The good part is that you know the author did a good job. The bad part is that the person's sleep debt packs up, not good. Aim for that.

Overall, ok for starters. And don't "overadvertise" the game. That means that you talk too much about a game when it is not decent. Of course overadvertising a wicked game is great!
