Let's follow the story of Hatman, a ummm.. hatman with the mystical powers of making every house he walks in explode in pieces. That sounds good, but it really isn't. Presentation The game's presentation is pretty weak. You get a single black screen with some text as you boot up the game. Graphics also are weak, as they mainly consist of gradient backdrops and one-colored backdrop elements. The main character do look funny though, so that's a plus. Sound effects are non-existant and the music is standard VGMusic fare, although the silly music which plays as you venture toward the next location is somehow funny. Gameplay Where's the gameplay in that title? The only thing you get to do in this game is to hold the right key when you're in one of the few playable screens and enter the house. You get treated afterwards to some rather awkward cinematic which you'll get to see about 5 more times, although it slighty changes each time. They're not really funny, neither. I expected that a game which put emphasis on humor had to be actually funny. Lastability Once you've spent the whopping 2 minutes it'll need to get to the ending screen, you'll soon delete it. Overall Hatman just is a really bad attempt at making a funny game. It isn't technically a game, since you only need one key to play the game. The Immortal Truth even had better gameplay than this. Unless you're like me and like to download crappy games, you really should stay clear of it.
