Review: Crash Bowling 2

Aaah...Crashiolio Bowlio the second. I must say I waasn't a huge fan of the first one (let's just say i wasn't quite "bowled over ahaha I crack me up), but I knew it had potential... has that potential been realised? Yes, yes it has... or has it?? Yes.

"Wha... I don't remember writing a checque for bowling!!"

"Ah sir, that's the checque for your boweling."

Presentation:

Very simple, gets the job done quite nicely but doesn't really measure up to some of the "pro" games. This is the kind of presentation from the old days of click, standard clickteam buttons, a fused title/menu screen. Straight to the point.

Gameplay:

A little tough at first, but you'll soon get the swing of things (maybe that should be the "crash of things ahahaha soo much funnier in my head). The spin zone adds the true key to success. Pick up the ball, aim, bowl spin, win.... deceptively simple.

Graphics:

The environments are good, characters are efficient enough. Nice use of textures, nothing to really complain about here.

Sound / Music:

No real sfx to speak of. I'm sure I know that midi but I can't quite put my finger on it...oh well it'll come to me. Sounds great at first, but you'll be pressin ctrl+m after about 5 mins. Maybe a little more diversity next time, or a jukebox maybe?

Lastability:

This is where the game truly shines. I myself find it hard to stop playing, and multiplayer with friends is a blast, especially in team mode! Great stuff.

Overall: 9/10

A great party game which you will not tire of too quickly...
