Diamenciarz is an interesting little game. Its a part platformer and part puzzle game, even though it leans more on the side of platformer. The game has a simple concept. Navigate your little character through different levels collecting diamonds, money bads and anything else shiny. Along the way, avoid spikes and other little guys walking back and forth. It's a simple setup, but it's pretty addictive and fun to play.

Gameplay works well in this game. The controls are just what they need to be for what the game requires. Jumps are tight, and the character moves with ease, allowing you to time your jumps perfectly. Levels each involve similar situations. You must get your character to switches that open doors, then get your character back to those doors. Eventually you get a key that will open the exit to the level. But as levels progress, new dangers present themselves, including new enemies and traps. I got caught by surprise more than once from overhead lazers!

The graphics are simplistic, but that is not too bad of a thing. The graphics are clean and easy to identify, which helps it work well as a puzzle game. Graphics are also very colorful, which also helps it fit into the puzzle genre.

Music is being given a rather high score because it sounds like it was original. I bet the author himself or one of his friends composed the music. Could it be better? Of course. But originality counts for a lot, so bonus points for that!

This game seems to have quite a few levels! There are more than enough levels to keep players occupied for a long time. Most levels have clear goals, and that lets the player focus on actually completing those goals instead of wandering around not knowing what to do.

There is definitely an audience for puzzle games like this. The levels are clean and easy to navigate, and the objects are well made. There are a ton of games where you have to collect items, but this game feels more rewarding somehow when you take the time to really find every item and all of the secrets (try to bumping blocks from underneath). May be too simple for some gamers, but it's an easy and fun way to spend a lazy evening!
