So here is a Starboy variety pack for all of your Starboy fans out there! Starboy is a series "starring" a little yellow star on a mission to... well.. do whatever the game wants him to do. There is kart racing, star collecting, bomberman...ing, and various other Starboy activities.

The games seem to have little to do with eachother, and they arent exactly well-organized, but you should find out what they all are easily enough.

Gameplay is a mixed bag between these games. I personally felt that Starboy 2 had the best control, just because it was simple. Starboy Kart also had pretty solid controls. Not so much for some of the others. In Starboy 4 you can shoot one bullet at a time, and then outrun it like the hare against the tortoise, and depending on what frame of animation you shot from, it may hit the enemy's head or fly right over it. I also easily got stuck in ceilings. :P

Graphics also vary widely. Starboy 4 is the best looking of the pack. Almost all of the graphics were original, and the worlds were very detailed with rich colors and interesting places to explore. The other older games looked a bit less impressive, but that shouldn't count against them too much since they are being included here are legacy games, and as part of a group.

Sound and music were always good enough. The sounds and music always fit the area and were chosen well. They never took away from the game, and added a nice atmosphere for the Starboy games.

Lastability is pretty high if you give all of these games a chance. There are overhead levels, driving levels, sidescrolling levels, and plenty of things to keep you occupied. These games were clearly a labor of love, and that tends to shine through and add enough interest to make you want to get to the next level.

Overall, this is a neat little pack of games that can provide some fun moments. Most of the good levels are just old-school side-scrolling star-collecting romps, which suits the game just fine. It's worth a download if you want a variety pack of games featuring the same likeable character.
