The Daily Click ::. Downloads ::. Review Review: [MMF2] Luor
Presentation: This game looks AMAZING! I never knew that MMF2 had such beautiful filters and amazing effects! There is even a choice between high quality and low quality. Very classy! The background of each level is bland in nature but with some weird filter that causes beautiful atmospherical (word? yes no?) effects that blow my mind in ways Phizzys comedy never did. The title screen is bland but still, with these amazing effect you will be crying in no time. Literally. Presentation: 9/10 Gameplay: The game play is nothing more than a standard top down flying shooter. I got to the boss of the 4th level and maybe saw about 5 or 6 different enemies. The weapons in the game are totally standard. All you have is your regular laser beam but the trick is that you also get multiple angles that you get to shoot it at. The more glowing orbs you collect the more angles you shoot it at. That is your savior when your surrounded by small enemies with evil in their eyes. If anything this is a lacking Shooter in gameplay with the shorthand in weapons and enemies but still a fun game to play. Gameplay: 7/10 Graphics: Wow... that is all I have to say about this game. These graphics are easily comparable to graphics in flash games and other high end applications. It may be something about MMF2 that makes graphics looks so much better. I'm not familiar with the program so much but eh. There is even a dark vs. light kinda thing going on and both the light and darkness effects are stunning. I wish the bullets from the enemies were more elaborate because they're are going to be multiple occasions where the majority of the screen with be filled with these objects and I wish they looked like more than black dots surrounded by red circles. But hell, I can't complain. Good show. Graphics: 8/10 Sound/Music: The music is beautiful. If he created this music than you sir are a prodigy. It is stylish and fits in with the gameplay perfectly. When it comes to sounds I'm not even sure if there is any sounds. The shot noise is really quite but that may be the idea of the game. More of a relaxer than an intense game. However he wanted it, it works. (y) Sound/Music: 8/10 Lastability: Can't get picky with these games because unless you have a really good plot to the game, or some kind of online scoring system you will never complete these games. I got to the end of the 4th level before I quit, and out of a total of 8 levels so it's only fair I give it a Lastability: 5/10 sorry dude Overall: This is a great way to start my time with the Daily Click back up. Things have changed and for the better. Beautiful game. Fully deserves to be the first GOTM. Good work man.
