This is a short demo for a different style of game I'd like to share with the community. You'll understand how to play straight away so no explanation is needed. After the 'hero' excapes from the ship, the demo is over.

If successful then expect a full version in the near future.

Second level is hard, but i managed to do it :)yay:)

Posted by Cybermaze 18th July, 2003

A quite original game indeed. Second level is hard but not impossible. Not my kind of game, but not bad at all!

Posted by Assault Andy 18th July, 2003

Haha, V-nice. It's like an arcade game i've played, where from time to time there are bits where you have to press a button at a certain time. -Andy

Prime, I really love the 2nd level. Would you mind if I did an action/puzzle game based on the engine?

Posted by Jirru (Fake "0" Productions) 19th July, 2003

This is gay, try again bud!

Posted by Penguin Seph 19th July, 2003

No Jirru, it is not gay, it is great! I like the 2nd level best.

Thanks for the comments. Has anyone realised the secret path you can take on the second level? If not then press right at the first red arrow pointing right. I think thats a bit easier. I've already done the next few levels so it wont be long untill the games finished, well at least the first part.

is this your first game?waw, this is great!!I can't wait for the next version to come!

Posted by Prime 19th July, 2003

No actually, this my latest out of hundreds of different games. Unforntunately after many years of making them my computer has destroyed most of them. This happened not long ago but it didn't bother me as I had no complete games, mostly engines. I thought that I would actually share a game with the comunity.

Posted by Knudde (Shab) 19th July, 2003

someone who makes all sorts of engines but no games. you sound like me..

Posted by Prime 19th July, 2003

To be honest I just couldn't be bothered finishing games. There wasn't any demand by the community, which I suppose is my fault for not uploading them. Now that I have, I feel as if I have to finish this game.

I find that graphics get in the way of my coding.

Posted by Prime 19th July, 2003

I put my graphics in a higher priority than coding. Thats why I can't be bothered finishing some games. At least with this one graphics aren't the priority. I'm gonna go back and finish them properly after the code is finished.

This was very interesting. It reminded me of dragon's lair in control scheme. I would be interested in seeing future versions of this if you decide to get around to it. My only complaint was that there were a couple of times that events occured too quickly together and response wasn't tight enough, causing me to repeat the "runaway" stage several times.

Posted by vortex2 19th July, 2003

The game is good, but the second level is hard!

Posted by JP 20th July, 2003

I love it, but I cheated in the 2nd level by holding shift down, that was the only way for me, dont take that out lol.

Posted by istvan 20th July, 2003

nice game, original graphics original gameplay. i hope to see the full version soon

Posted by Prime 20th July, 2003

You'll be happy to know that the 2nd level has been made a little easier and I've removed some glitches in the programing. I've also completed the next level, BE WARNED ITS VERY HARD! That makes 4 levels so far which completes the first stage. Expect the first instalment sone. It should have at least two more stages.

reminds me of warioware...without the 5second time limit...ME WANTS MORE!

Posted by Tongs 20th July, 2003

Wow, I'm impressed! It's a very unique and challenging game. Can't wait to see more!
