Bounce away chapter 1
is a game I made a while ago (you may remember the preview) I did a preview for it once and tweaked the game to the suggestions and fixed up bugs. Well in the game you are a bouncing ball and you are trying to escape an evil little nine year old from melting you with a lighter by steering through the family's kitchen.

Storyline
Welcome to "Bounce Away".

The storyline(from the balls point of view)- Billy was always a good kid. He would play with us often and treated us well that is until he turned 9. He began to bounce us too hard which caused us to slowly chip away. One day we watched in horror as Billy got his favorite ball, the red ball, who was chipped away so much that he could no longer bounce.He took his parents lighter and held it up against the red ball and melted it to a puddle of rubber. This was the breaking point for the rest of us, Billy had crossed the line. We knew we had to get away, and the rest, as they say, is history.

The controls-
Direct the "Bouncer" that is connected to your mouse to help the green ball escape from Billy. Use the bouncer by positioning it then hitting the ball until the ball goes the desired direction. If you click the left mouse button the bouncer will go horizontal. If you click the right mouse button the bouncer will go diagonal. If you continually press the right mouse button the bouncer will toggle between left and right facing diagonals. You have to get your ball to the far right of the screen to continue to the next stage, but you have to do this within the count limit. The number of counts you have is shown in the bottom left corner of the screen. The allowed number of counts is shown in the top-right of the screen next to the level and stage display.

Please don't say that this game sucks and walk away at least tell me why you hate it and what i should change.

i'm also accepting ideas for the next chapter.

Okay, played it through.

Great Idea! I really like it. There's some things though...
-First of all, you could have made more variety on the graphics. The look all way too same.
-The game is extremely short and easy. You could have done more levels, since it uses the basic ball movement and doesn't have very much things to put into a level.
-It was strage that when I completed the last level and passed through the door, it said I died and asked if I want to retry.

Also, the mouse-controllable bat is quite glitchy and same goes for the ball movement, but those are things you can't fix before you have some super skills on MMF.

Pretty nice little game.

well thank you for being the only one that downloaded it i will try to address the problems you found and ill add some sounds.

actually i kinda thought the last level was hard it takes me a couple tries to beat it

yeah i kinda lost it. I was gonna do another level in a forest but i cant seem to get the graphics to look the same style.

about the ball movement i should probably increase the security to make it more predictable and controlled.

i cant think of a way to make it so the bat cant "skewer" the ball.

That's actually quite hard to prevent since your using a mouse controlled bat :\. Perhaps a custom movement would help, I'm not really sure.

I already had this downloaded from when you posted at SilverNova, it's a good idea just needs some work.

oh well i fixed some glitches on it so it is a bit better. but still basically the same. Its hard when you work alone :*(

Sorry i gave you such a low rate but...
1. the graphics suck
2. the gameplay is ok but not that fun
3. the buttons suck
4. the mainmenu sucks

Try to make it more fun.
