Based on the classic Webomic cat http://epiadv.netfirms.com/ , this is a one level demo featuring Epicenter and his quest to find out where the rungs off the ladder went.

EPICENTER and characters were created by Patrick May.

Please note there may be some (very mild) offensive language.

I'm sure ive played this before.
Well it's perhaps it's one for fans of the comics?

It seems like a solid enough engine (or a well disguised built in movement)
the gameplay is a little basic and the randomness of the enemies movement makes killing them harder than just avoiding them, well until you get to the boss cos you have to kill him...

There are a few things you might want to change, his climbing animation sometimes sticks after jumping off a ladder which makes it impossible to attack until you get on another ladder.
Also the last piece of text just stays on screen forever, (is that the Amstrad cpc default font is see there?)

Well, it was really just an engine test anyway. It's a year old I just never bothered to submit it. I have a proper game I've been working on - but I don't want to submit it under this name, I think.

I'll make the full game when they finally support global qualifiers(it will probably be quite short though). Killing the enemies is a lot easier when you get used to the mouse. Also, the flying kick move you get is the main attack you'll be using for air-borne enemies, it works really well.

Thanks for your feedback
