It's strange how something so ridiculously simple can become so oddly addicting at times. The name of this game pretty much says it all.

I'm still very new to the world of game-making, but I've learned so much with my "Fangame" project that I wondered how much trouble it would be to whip up something simple. "Generic Pong" was the result.

If you don't know the controls... you should be slapped

There is no "Game Over". When you miss the ball, it wraps around to the other side of the board but it takes off points.

The higher your score, the faster the ball will move.

Those graphics are so advanced! A square ball!? who'd thought?

I figured since everybody else re-invents the wheel, I'd re-invent the box.

I love what you've done with the Pong genre. What did you use for the graphics? CATIA? 3D Studio? Amazing.

At least the game title is honest.

actually no, the game title is not honest, because
real generic pong at least had a computer opponent.

You clearly misunderstand the meaning of the word "generic"

I understand the word perfectly well.

Look at the third example, instead of rpg think think pong, which has always been known to have either a computer or human opponent on the other side of the play area.
