The Silly Bomb Nightmare!

Oh snap! Mr. Klister has been caught up in a nightmare,
and only you can help him out!

This game was created for the VGNG-compo in a way too short timespan, but that constraint is what added the glitter. And since the game was so fun making, we decided to continue working on it!

-Controls

*Move with the arrow keys
*Duck with arrow key down
*Jump with Z
*Attack/advance text with X
*Pause game with space
*Skip dialog with enter

-Gameplay

*Collect all (ZZZ) to open the exit
*Collect hearts to restore energy
*Pick up a mr. Klister head(!) or collect 50 valerian flowers for a 1-Up
*Deliver a devastating swipe with your mighty weapon upon an unsuspecting bomb
to send it hurtling through the air towards it's inevitable burstificatious end.
*Watch out for everything

-Special Moves

*Mr. Klister can kick off walls in mid-air for an additional jump!
Whilst touching the wall, turn in the opposite direction and press jump.
Mr. Klister can scale high walls after mastering this technique!

-That's it

Most enjoyable game I've played here since Hatman!

There was one section in level 2 that I couldn't pass (six cannons and a pit of spikes) but I love the atmosphere of the game. The music is great!

Hehe, that's cause you're not able too pass it. If you manage to reach the extralife after passing the "U" part you'll be on the opposite side.

On another note, have people found the hidden areas? I think there are three in level 1 and four in level 2.

I agree with nim, awesome game.
Only thing I didn't like was the "collision with box"-thingy on those spikes.

And yeah, I found atleast 1 hidden area at level 1.
