All the stickmen in Stick Matrix and the upcoming Super Stick fighter turbo are animated using only TGF/MMF built in editors. It can take a while but they're only stick men after all so it doesn't take as long as animating a full character and it allows you precise control over your stickmen. If you're using MMF it's particularly easy as you can set the line thickness.

to the one who said flash mx, no. its easy in the program, but for a game, no. for movies, flash mx (and games, too, but this is an amateur games site so i wont talk) if you want animations in flash for tgf/mmf, you have to screen each frame, paste in a paint program, cut it out, go into tgf, make the background transparent/clean up image, set hotspots and change sizes. i've tried this with an unfinished game (svend the penguin) and hexed 2 (what happened to that?), but it took way too long. just use mmf/tgf for games and flash for movies.
