if i wanted to make a game using the Snes Resoulution of 256x224 what do i have to do.
if you tick the change resolution button it makes the image look stretched and obscure.
is there a decent way to apply custom Resolutions?
If you're using The games factory then you can't stretch 256x224 or any size properly by just using the resize to fit window.
Multimedia fusion i think should work because someone fullscreen'd my game that used a resolution of 320x224 (megadrive/genesis resolution)
MMF lets you pick whatever resolution you want. If you want to stretch it to fullscreen, I don't think the aspect's going to work so you might want to opt for letterbox-style if that's your intention.
But a video game running 256 pixels wide doesn't center the picture in a 320 pixel display, it stretches it across the screen.
FYI SNES runs at multiple resolutions, 256x224 is one. It can also run at a resolution of 512x448. Mega Drive/Genesis runs at 320x224, yay go megadrive!
- Ok, you must admit that was the most creative cussing this site have ever seen -
im using MMF 1.9 and using custom res seems to stretch the screen. and it leaves a really mishapen border around the app, makes it look crap. i think ill just stick with 320x200. its alot easier and not alot different from 256x224, if better.
oh and a completley different subject, whats the number 1 game on this site. i found lost valley and thats 2nd, i cant seem to find the 1st.
