1. Definately going, purchased the tickets, going for a meal
2. Definately going, purchased the tickets, not going for a meal
3. Definately going, haven't purchased the tickets
4. Considering going, pondering (you don't have much time left!)
I don't care about those who are NOT going, that's why they're not listed! But I think it would be once again cool to meet some/all of you who are definately going. If there's time
Use this forum thread to discuss what you're looking forward to, what you expect, people you'd want to meet (personally it'd be Mark Pay again, if he is going - great guy, and Jason Darby and Jeff too). In fact discuss anything you want about the Click Convention 2005, and if you read positive comments and reactions, then maybe those who are sceptical about going may wish to reconsider
Unless it's held in Norkfolk somewhere I doubt I would go. Although me and a mate did drive from Thetford to Lancaster a few weeks ago (which was about 300 miles) so it's possible.
However i need to convince someone for a lift since I can't drive lol.
Thetford?? Thats only about 20 miles more than what I have to do to get down there, surely you can get some sort of travel arrangement, your mum or dad perhaps? It's held at Bourne End, near Hemel Hempstead (www.clickconvention.com for more information) and I strongly recommend that if you enjoy game making that you try and go to this.
I might take my digital video camera with me this time; possibly a laptop too (though its a pretty crappy laptop with only 4GB HD space lol) and I might do a report. Although it would be cool if perhaps someone else wrote a report too on their own experiences rather than have me rambling on about how Aku (MitchM) beat me at MSD1
I'm with Snerlin. I'm in the US too. I shall start petition now!
Plus, I can't get to the UK because:
a)I teach an anime class, and I hardly get paid for that, therefor I have next to know money.
b)I work at a music and videos store, and I hardly get paid for that.
c)When your under 17, you can't travel alone.
d)My parents would never go anyway.
So there you have it. There are more reasons that go beyond z), so I'd have to make up letters that aren't on the keyboard. Life blows sometimes.
I'd picket outside Clickteam, but it's also in Europe.

Fine Garbage since 2003.
CURRENT PROJECT:
-Paying off a massive amount of debt in college loans.
-Working in television.
Edit: I just checked Priceline... I suggested a trip to Europe for Five Dollars... It gave me a ticket for $45. I bet the plane would be driven by illegal immigrants riding a beat-up 1950's plane with a missing right wing and no landing wheels (it would probably take a pit-stop in Iraq where I'd get the crap shot out of me).
Still, it's a ride, right?
