"Makes a change... welcome to the site"

I've heard there are people with... Questionable personalities here.
No doubt I'll find out for myself sometime soon!

Cheers for taking the time to reply.
(Maybe now would be a good time to pimp MehPong)

Please give it as much criticism as it deserves.
This bloody game took tonnes of hair pulling, and raised blood pressure to make.

We don't hate people for simply being new, just those that act like idiots. You'll probably find the vast majority of regular posters are nice people. I can't see why you would not get along with everyone here.

It's also nice to see someone who still uses The games factory like me, most other users have upgraded to Multimedia fusion.

Quite a few people said that I should have upgraded ages ago.
To be honest I stumbled onto it by complete fluke!
A friend of mine was doing a LUDO course in dublin, and one of their main educational focuses was program / game creation via TGF, which they gave to me because of the blatant amount of editing and mod making I was infecting their forums with.

It had the desired effect, and shut me up for a long LONG time
I'm too used to it to drop it now, especially since I tried damn hard to exceed past the dated, restricted program I thought it was at the time, and see how far I could bend the program. I think I managed to construct my game well, and was suprised at how versatile the program is. Looks like it's certainly more powerful than I had anticipated. Love it!

I certainly didnt imply that, just going on one or two comments I stumbled across. Naturally, me being new here, I'm going to be a bit wary but hopefully that'll change soon. After all, everyone who has replied to my thread has been very helpful.
Thanks again.

Hi, Welcome. The click community needs more people like you

I also use TGF for game making, since I'm so used to it. I have MMF and use it for compiling and adding cool effects, but TGF still gets me by for most of the coding.

I must get a version of it and give it a trial run.
I detest trialed programs however, because as soon as I get into using it, it expires I'm for TGF all the way!

I just noticed the Home Page!
No idea who put it up there but jesus, thanks a million!
It's a nice feeling

I bought MMF 1.5 a few months ago and I've barely used it, the interface in TGF is just miles better and simpler than MMF's, and the image/sprite editor in TGF is a lot easier to use than MMFs. From the few shots ive seen of MMF2 it looks like they are bringing back the TGF style image/sprite editor which is a relief.

Cool stuff, although even if I wanted to register TGF, I have no credit card or any other such methods of purchasing any packages, so I have to make do with the Unregistered TGF version I have, and to be honest, I'm more than happy to stand by it

Thanks for welcoming me

If I was drunk and silly, I certainly wouldn't have made this game

I'm pretty sure the Lucky Charms guy has a face. He might not be Irish though.
