Any chance of holding it a bit nearer the North? Just for one year, just so that a few more of us could at least once enjoy this occasion? I mean, is it too much to ask for it to be held outside London. Maybe even Birmingham would do - it's cheaper and probably one of the most accessible places in Britain. Manchester would be even better!
2. It's a bit soon to be asking this, since the convention organisers are still clearing up from the last one. Your best bet is to ask Jason and Sarah themselves a bit later on in the year, but I think the majority would prefer the convention to remain where it is (well, I would anyway)
May I just say the worst possible place to hold the unofficial US Click Convention is in Hawaii. Someone should have a look where a lot of the clickers in the USA come from and then hold it near there. Makes more sense than holding it in the Pacific Ocean for one clicker's sake.
That's just if you're being serious about it by the way, or am I an arse in thinking so?
Count me in if it goes to Birmingham (UK not alabama ). I dont like london, everythings dear, and the southeners are grumpy buggers who take the michael out of the northeners accents.
In my undervalued and unwanted opinion, CT could consider an e-convention. It's basically two or three conventions held at the same time (bearing in mind one would be very early and one quite late due to timezones), and you rig a webcam up to a large projector.
I've seen it done a couple of times at other gatherings, it works very well, people can go up to the camera and talk to people.
