I think that groups as large as 2 people should be allowed, because not everyone is great at making graphics, and that might be the reason alot of people lose intrest in the contest, I mean in the end, the person who submits it should be the one who gets the prize, its not like you have to give it to both people. Its just, allowing groups of atleast 2, would inspire alot more entries, because everyone has strengths & weaknesses. Besides, I was hoping to work with Snerlin if he ever signs on, but I guess I cant unless the rule is backed down.
Well not to give them any idea's, but if you were a long term member here, and have alot of examples of your work, it might be a little easy to tell if someone made the graphics for you game, only because each person seems to have there own style of graphics. As far as eventing, I dont know how they would tell, but with graphics, the admins might find it pretty hard to believe that someone who couldnt make anything good, suddenly has this absolutly amazing looking game. I think thats a sure sign.
There is only ONE person who will get MMF2 as there is only one copy. If the winning game was done by a group of people then it would just encourage piracy.
I'm thinking that I might increase the filesize further, to say, 12MB. That way there'd be room for the .exe version as well as the .gam or .cca file. So yeah, both of those should be included in the zip. I'll amend the competition page now.

Increase the group limit size then. A rule to force 1-man projects isn't a "guideline" it's a pointless restriction. Competition guidelines are used to force creativity, as apposed to just limiting the amount of entries. Games of any complexity are not meant to be made by one person, and if they are, they take longer than one month. A 2 man group can strategically use strengths and weaknesses together if they cooperate well, and create a much better and more fleshed out product.
Ok, groups are allowed then, but there is still only one copy of MMF2 to go around. If you submit a group entry (and it wins) then you'll have to decide who gets MMF2. You might want to run a random drawing, maybe what Brandon said and have the submitee win the copy.
I'm just very wary about the piracy issue, but I guess I cannot prove who's been working alone or anything, so I might as well relax this.

Phizzy: Jerk.
Circy: Yay for groups. I guess I'm in again.

Holy crap! the prize is MMF 2 "PRO"?? I'm so in on this one. Means that I'll have to put my current project, which is tugging along extremely well, on ice for the time being. I had planned to finish the game before christmas and then complete my game from TDC's last years X-mas competition. But MMF2Pro, wow!
Why can't the size limit be 8.mb to 12.mb, and anything inbetween? because adding in countless screenshots to make the zip file bigger is not fun. And my game is huge right now.

I do not wish to include my address. Is it possible to send the winner the serial code and app through email instead of the mail? My mom does not want me giving away my address.
