I am currently working on a new graphics course for Klik Academy, and this time
I want it to be good. I lost my interest in my previous courses because it was all too much like a standard pixel art tutorial.
I am learning alot now in my new life as an art student, but I would like to know what you people would like to see in a course like this. The course will be mainly about pixel art, involving inpiration, lineart, colours, shading and dithering, but I want it to be more than just that. So all suggestions are welcome.
Personification. Like really evil things or really crazy stuff what are actually just normal objects; I'm thinking scary vines in a Halloween game kind of thing.

It sounds good.
I'm not very good at RPG style top graphics. You might add in a lesson about tiles and sprites in a top-RPG angle.

Yeah, but there's a special application which makes your normal graphics isometric style. It's called the World Creator and you can find it on www.inet2inet.com .

It should be do-able in paint without spending money on free stuff.

I find that people have a hard time doing the West/East views when making RPG characters. Most of the time it ends up just looking like a platform character. I think it would be realy helpful if you did some stuff on that...you know angling the legs and stuff.
