When I import a background image I have made up in Paintshop Pro (version 7) into MMF, the black areas (0,0,0) are always transparent. I have to fill them in manually which can sometimes be fiddly and time consuming. Is it a PSP or MMF problem?
Its a problem with antialised. Basicly when using photoshop or other decent gfx packages they will instantly fade a brush stroke to give the effect of a smooth line, whereas MMF doesnt do this at all (or very well). What i find works is create the image in photoshop, open the mmf editor and paste the pic, then delete it and color the area black, now repaste and that should solve your problem.

I thought (0,0,0) was used for transparency in MMF...

Peblo's got it.
Dave S., just use (0,0,1) or something for black areas instead. Also, rather than filling them manually when it does happen, what I do is paste the image to enlarge the canvas, then delete it, fill with MMF-black and paste again.
