They mean notepad as apposed to like ConTEXT or other script editors, & Google as apposed to say Yahoo, Windows Media Player rather then like WinAMP or iTunes, Windows as apposed to Mac or Linux.

I know I've said this before, but Windows kicks Mac OS's ass, and know I really know about the subject having to use the goddamn Apple Mac's all the time. Everything has to be in it's own little windows, which you can't find easily like in Windows.
As for the sigbox's - they're poo. Not a patch on the Wikipedia userboxes. If anyone's interested there's Klik userbox - just put {{User Klik}} onto your userpage.
WindowsXP never crashes unless you caught a virus (which is rare, expecially if your not on websites your not suppost to be on #1... #2, if you have a good virus scanner), it just goes very slowly if your screwed something up. You can press WindowsXP as hard as you can, an it will run slowly, but you'll never get a blue screen or anything like that. WindowsXP was the dawn of the true working Windows. I'm not going to any other OS, expecially if WindowsVista is planned to be even better then WindowsXP! So screw Mac!
As far as I am concerned, if it doesn’t happen on 2 different computers with the same system specs, then its not Window's fault, its the persons fault for putting something on it that made it unstable. WindowsXP in general is a perfectly fine OS, it’s not fair for people to blame Windows, because they enjoy screwing things up, just because they can. Windows is very flexible, so before you go screwing with things, make sure you know what the hell you’re doing first. It will let you mess it up, Mac wont... that’s the problem most people seem to have. I rest my case.
In my experience, Mac crashes more than Windows. I can't remember one single crash on my XP computer, even running loads of games, software programs and the like. Mac's mess up at the slightest little thing. They have no redeeming features.

I have no experience with macs, but I do have experience with Linux.
The funny thing is: when a Windows program crashes, it's caused more often by Windows than the program, and Windows crashes half too. When a Linux program crashes, it's often the program's own fault, not Linux's, and Linux just keeps on running correctly.
But then again, Linux has a whole community working on it, so yeah, it's pretty logical it's more stable than Windows.
About those bars: meh. Signatures are used for your little comment under every post of yours, maybe a link too, and MAYBE a banner, but nothing more.
