I hate Flash sites, espescially Flash-only sites. Radix, just because a large company implements an idea does not mean it is not exceptionally bad. Behold the website of the UK's largest cinema chain, Odeon:

Can't see much? That's because it only works in IE, and it's not even Flash, just crappy Javascript. A big company making an incredibly bad webdesign decision. It happens. And I didn't bother looking at that Wilson site at first as it takes so long to load, even over my Uni LAN. No casual browser would wait that long. When it eventually loaded, I can't see a single thing it does that couldn't be done more effeciently in XHTML. Not the case for all sites, as Flava says, but for the vast majority it's superfluous.
