I know what you are thinking, "OMG this is amazing, how do I enter?" Well it's simple, all you have to do is be the first person to send me screenshots, info, and maybe a beta or a movie of their game. I'll work closely with you to ensure that it's exactly what you want. What've you got to lose? Absolutely nothing! So apply fast or your an idiot!
NOTE: No, i'm not trying to find my "calling" again like in that "Well, maybe i'm good at marketing" topic, i'm just kinda bored and I want a cool project.

I guess I'm an idiot for not applying.

Uhh, are you joking? First of all, your pictures have to be online. Second of all i need more than 2 pictures. If you can get that all together i'll be happy to make a site for you.
Note to idiots: I made keatontech over a year ago and i'm much better at flash now.
That's funny. The most distinguished design course in Britain tells me that Flash is a bad idea. Why?
-lack of compatibility. most important factor
-lack of accessibility. think the old Amazon fiasco with their tables, incompatibility with screen readers etc
-without external files you're looking at huge a single file size. Like that Wilson thing site; LOADING. long initial load times turn people away. Marketing no-no.
then there's the obvious...
-without a backend they are useless, leaving only the best coders and designers making sites that are adequate.
-anything less than professional Flash sites look like shit
I'm surprised that a marketing firm says that Flash is good. All the studios, sites and designers I've met with say that the lack of compatibility restricts parts of the market. This is where CSS and that come in, or just raw HTML. Biggest audience.
Well, I guess nobody wants an awsome flash site for their game. From now on if you want one please DC mail me. Oh well, I guess for now i'll have to work on something else.
WHOOO!!! My 400th post on TDC! I know many of you have thousands of posts, but keep in mind i've only been here for about 6 months.
I agree. Never ever ever design a site entirely in Flash. Intros are okay, and the odd little element here and there. I got bored waiting for the Wilson site so I turned it off, that's why you shouldn't do a site in Flash.
Surely it depends on what kind of site you're making?
You can't just say "Use CSS because flash sucks" - because some sites will be best made in flash, others in HTML/CSS. Depends what product you're offering or what type of company you are.
For a klik game, I don't think there is even a point in making a website for a single game.
