Does anyone know if theres an extension or something like it that gives you the possibility to save active objects into external files?

I don't really understand the question, if you mean the picture of the active object then you could always try and screenshot the active. If you mean save the active object's position or something, you can use inis or arrays etc.

You can just save the animation and direction values in an INI, if that's what you mean?
You need to give more detail if you want a better answer.

I guess he means exporting all the whole object data (position, values, directions, current anim. number) + all the frames of each single animation, saved somewhere in someway that should be re-imported later.... maybe.

Saving all the datas should be simple using inis, arrays, or datastore2 object.
No idea about exporting frames and animations, sorry.

ps - what the hell are you making?? ^_

That's not possible at the moment, but I'm sure if you told us what you wanted to do it for then we could suggest alternatives.

Why would you want to do this?

Importing it into another game?

NO. He wants Alpha Channel...

With Alpha Channel, you can move it like an active, but you can also load animations from external files. Use the Alpha Channel object!
