ok we have a GOTW ( Game Of The Weak ) .. every weak a new GOTW , its just fine.. But! like other professional gaming sites why can't DC also add yearly awards like best action game of the year , best music , best graphics , best gameplay , best adventure game , best 'Any Famous Category' game awards .. that would be nice and may attract other klik communities here to check out the results and try those.

The reason this probably isn't done anymore is simply because nobody has time. Either way I think awarding the "best" games is a bad way of doing things - simply because everyone has different opinions, and plus the results might not always be a fair one. Like when eternal daughter was released - everyone got high off it, whereas I played it for about 10 minutes and got a bit bored of it, as it wasn't my kind of game. Yet if we had an awards thing that year, ED would have slaughtered any other game released.
GOTW gives EVERY game a chance at getting rewarded - while a yearly award doesn't. Plus GOTW doesn't really take that much effort to do - post some news, edit the poll and voila it's automatically added to the site. A yearly awards thing would be more difficult and time consuming.
clickzine peoples including you , offcourse .. can just take a bunch of best possible games in a particular category , start polls and automatically get results for each of them and then announce them in the clickzine issue releasing at the end of the year

You could take all the GOTW winners of the year and vote for all those. But then GOTW is just the best out of a selection. LIke, let's say we got 3 catch the falling crap minigames and then we got a better one. No one would vote for it for GOTY, but it only won GOTW because it was the best of the litter, even though no one liked it.
game of the year is nice but we can have more detailed awards .. lolx i can start such thing myself like Kliky did with the DC Location thing.. but i wonder how many peoples will be intrested to vote for it!
