After playing around with the Drawline object a while in TGF, I realized you can create an entire vector game with it.
http://bibinson.sitesled.com/vectoroids.zip
It's like gravitar, and asteroids put together. arrows to move (different control style, didn't feel like making a traditional asteroids engine and shift to fire.
It even has destructable terrain, which can not be done with regular backdrops. It also has a fade-in effect, without any extra actives.
Many people probably also did something like this... but I dunno, I thought it was kinda cool.

Ack! That was hard.
Don't think it's been done before. Probably because drawline tends to paste itself to the background all the time (Even if you uncheck 'display as background (faster)'). Or at least the MMF version does.

Hauhaha. Very difficult but some cool ideas there. I love the ground transformations. Good stuff.

The TGF one only seems to do that if it either moves the line points around real fast, or increase the line width a lot.

That's pretty cool.

Hey, very nice. I always thought it was too buggy to do anything with.

How did you do that?
Did you use fastloops to move the lines?
I never understood that object...

No, no fastloops.
And lembi-generic-name-involving-numbers-tacked-on-end, radix isn't evil. Calm down. The apocalypse happened for U.S. people in 2001 anyway, when George W. Bush became president.

I did something like this a few years ago, you can actually do pretty nice things with the drawline object, you can even do semi 3d objects with it. This looks much better than what I did btw.

HAHAHA no the asteroids and the ship are raster graphics. The walls and destroyable ground use the drawline. But of course; if I did use drawline for the sprites i'd use a fastloop.

People are finicky about spelling/punctuation here. Mainly they do it for a laugh but sometimes do it out of habit (because it's never really funny.)
Also Radix is harsh on idiots, not just nasty.
