I don't know what's wrong with you, Adam, Keira Knightly is very hot.
I just saw it. ^^ I liked it alot; the action was intense, and it was funny. That being said, though, I have a complaint: the movie was less story driven, I thought. It felt like, in this movie, that all the monsters felt cheaper some how, than the skeletons of the last film. The movie was more scary monsters for the sake of scary monsters.
You shouldn't go here, there are crazy swedes who mumble about cucumbers:

Its cos theyre made to look wet. Sometimez wetness can be tricky to acheive with cgi I belive. The Kraken looks crap IMO but itz still big and sexy lol!
ACTUALLY THE KRAKEN IS MORE WOMANLY THAT KEIRA KNIGHTLY LOL
Maybe she looked more mainly because she was dress up like one? I only wished the movie had some sense of ending. I know there's going to be a 3rd one, but the main reason I liked the first one more is because the ending was better. I also agree the first ones story was better only because it was completed without me having to wait another year to see it happen. All in all though I still enjoyed the movie and would watch it again. Did anyone noticed that they tried to be too funny? Jack the man and who still is became a little more goofy at times than before.
I was really unimpressed by the movie. I work at a theatre and I almost walked out on it. I wasn't out any money, but it's 160 minutes of my life I won't get back. On the whole, I compare it to the second Matrix movie. New plotlines are opened and never closed, characters don't develop, the simplicity of the first movie is lost, and all of the scenes seem stretched out longer than they need to be. As with the Matrix movies, they should've made a single 3 hour sequel rather than a pair of 2 1/2 hour sequels. They could've easily cut out a full hour of the movie and none of the substance would've been lost. It seems like they just wanted to whore out the franchise for as much money as they could instead of making a good movie. And money it will make... we had 16 showings of it today and all of them sold out.
On a positive note, Kiera Knightley is still fine as hell. If Adam thinks she is manlike he should go screw a unicorn, because the chances of finding a more attractive woman are equally realistic.
The film was made simply to promote a ride at Disneyland.
@Adam: What's the point of having a movie simply to open more plotlines for the third? That's the problem with these endless sequels, they think too far ahead. They should have made the second, saw the reaction and then decided to make a third.
