Who remembers the Atari 2600 VCS game, adventure, and i's 3 skill levels? Well look at this:

A little parody; it's based on an old one I did on photoshop in 2nd grade, but much better.

I do. It had to be the shortest game in the world. Go down, get the black key, go up through the maze, get the yellow key, done.

I don't remember tha game because ive never played it. I used to own an atari 2600 that my grandparents gave to us,
they gave us instruction manuals for loads of games but only the actual cartridges for about 4,
still we had
Combat
Battlezone
Space invaders
Asteroids.
so they were 4 goodens,

Acutally, it depends on what difficulty you set it at. Still, level 3 usually takes me around 2-7 minutes.

I once borrowed my uncle's Atari, and it had this game on it. Even though it's cheap, it's fun.
He also had 'Krull-The Game', and it sucked.
Fine Garbage since 2003.

Hah, I do! It's one of my old favorites. I even wrote a GameFAQs review on it, if you can believe that. Yeah, setting 3 was randomized and it was the hardest setting because the bat was a beeatch!

Combat Pwned! I used to play that, Pitfall, Pitfall 2, and Spiderman for hours.
The 2600 will always hold a special place in my heart; it was my first game console. I still didn't play it nearly as much as I did the Nintendo; which my cousins and I got the year it came out (I was 3 or 4 I think). But the fondness is still there.

I have a 2600, and it still works, but I have no decent games for it (eg. better-known titles).

I've only played KNPMASTER's remake of Adventure. It's no longer available though.

Never played Adventure; and from the sounds of it, I'm glad I didn't. Even back in the dark ages it sounds like that game would have pissed me off.

You're not really going to get much out of an atari 2600.
From what ive read about programming the thing i bet even adventure was a major challenge to get working.
Also the carts were limited to 12k max.

... Adventure was the first game for the 2600. That's not the most you can get out of it. Play Battlezone, that game was decent.

I played adventure a little, not much though. I really liked Jungle Hunt, Pitfall, Mario Bros, Combat, etc. Most of the activision games were awesome.

Did you read my first post Bibin? I used to own battlezone. Also Combat was the first game for the 2600. (I think)
I didn't say it was the most you could get out of it, but getting ANYTHING working was tricky so something like adventure was pushing the machine beyond what it's creators thought possible.
Something like Space invaders seems simple enough but actually the machine can't handle that many objects without some clever coding tricks.
Anyway you misread my post.

I played Jungle Hunt for PC when I was five, and I loved it.
I only got to play one level, though, because this bitchy girl kept kicking me off the computer.
