The 2600 will always hold a special place in my heart; it was my first game console. I still didn't play it nearly as much as I did the Nintendo; which my cousins and I got the year it came out (I was 3 or 4 I think). But the fondness is still there. Craps, I'm an old man!

(I think) I didn't say it was the most you could get out of it, but getting ANYTHING working was tricky so something like adventure was pushing the machine beyond what it's creators thought possible. Something like Space invaders seems simple enough but actually the machine can't handle that many objects without some clever coding tricks. Anyway you misread my post. .
