You could use... Umm... A shitload of actives maybe, or Overlay object or something?

Here's how I did it, it uses 3 active objects, 2 are invisible.

PS: It's only an example of my METHOD. It's by no means a final, the most noticeable thing is that it's very blocky, and this can be fixed.

That looks like an acceptable way of doing it to me - you should destroy the objects at the back, though, so that the object count doesn't build up quite so much. It stays at an acceptable level even there, though.

Delete it, and see if it still works the same.

No, but you could replace it with something that makes sense. Don't use timer events. Nein.

My goal was to show him how it could be done, I was not trying to impress you or anyone else with fancy events. I didn't feel like spending any more then 3 minutes on making an example that no one else even tried to make.

That has nothing to do with it. You're not supposed to teach less experienced members to use timer events.

Brandon was trying to help someone, it doesnt matter if he used timer events to explain how something worked. So for crying out loud stop berating him and shut up.

Ye Olde helicopter game should be eassy - MMF2 would make it all the more so I should imagine. If you can tell what's going on in BrandonC's example then use that, it's the easiest way. I can't see any reason this should be very difficult to accomplish? It's a shame that Brandon has to justify his example... Is it typical that people would critisize?
