I'm running Windows Vista RC1 Build 5600 64bit Edition, and Multimedia Fusion 2 is running perfectly without any glitches at all. It's up to date, and no compatibility mode was used.
Right after Multimedia Fusion 2 is started up, after installing updates and bonus packs:
At the frame editor after opening "Emerald Challenge":
The 'Create New Object' dialog:
Title screenshot of Emerald Challenge running:
Screenshot playing Emerald Challenge without any framerate issues.
The Multimedia Fusion 2 About dialog:
Windows Vista System dialog:
These screenshots come directly from installing Multimedia Fusion 2, installing the automatic update, and installing the bonus packs.
I'm not having any issues getting it to run, so perhaps you had a sour install, or you're using an older build of Windows Vista. Even then though, Multimedia Fusion 2 ran fine in Beta 2 for me.
Windows Media Player 11 looks much better on Windows Vista, but on the flip side... it's performance slips as well. Winamp beats Windows Media Player in the long run anyway.
@BrandonC:
Yeah I'll agree it's rather CPU consuming but it's better than iTunes now imo, and winamp is ok but ... well I can't really fault it to be honest! I just found it annoying to navigate around my library of 4000+ songs That's where WMP handles things better really.
Take it easy Rhys, I just said that is the way to prove if you are Phizzy. If you are retarded you must be Phizzy. An I'm not going to fuck you, you do that yourself.
Oh sweet mary.

"If you are retarded you must be Phizzy."
Lol, retard. Phizzy is pretty intelligent, but likes to act weird a lot of the time.
Besides, Rhys Davies is known around here, and Phizzy is Torbjörn at the moment.

Okay, then I have no idea who you are anyway (lol) and your name being Rhys would be a coincedence.
He suddenly appeared from being offline since like.. 2003, and stuck up for Phizzy in every post calling any opposition gay. Also, apparently (I think it was Shab or Circy) said that he shared the same IP address as Phizzy... so one draws their own conclusions
No, I can't get it to work. It's probably my ancient computer. It can't handle VISTA (my computer that runs Windows2000 works perfectly with MMF2).
Huge problem: neither version can run KCFloop.cox, which is odd, because it's built into MMF. Also, I can't save anything as a stand alone application. :/

CURRENT PROJECT:
-Paying off a massive amount of debt in college loans.
-Working in television.
What I did was partitioned my hard drive, and installed a clean version of Windows Vista. The upgrade could be part of your problem, I've never liked Windows upgrades, because they never feel stable. Windows XP and Vista alone have compatibility issues, let alone anything older.
Even an upgrade from Windows 98 or ME up to Windows XP is enough to make Windows XP an extremely unstable OS, while a clean install of Windows XP will run perfectly if you know how to use it.
